Is Dunkin taking its range of donuts vegan? Well that appears to be the hint as the company is trialling no fewer than 40 new vegan donuts in Belgium.

The range which includes peanut butter and jelly, vanilla cocoa, mango passion, lotus sensation and more, is currently only available online, however the company says it will be available in stores from next month.

The news has sparked speculation that Dunkin will soon ‘veganise’ its entire range.

Dunkin has been experimenting with vegan products for some time now offering oat milk, creating vegan breakfast alternatives and collaborating with Beyond Meat on a burger offering.

CEO David Hoffman told Senior Campaigns Coordinator for Animal Outlook Rachel Pawelski that shareholders will continue to see ‘more consumer choice on the menu’.

“As it relates to a vegan donut, we continue to investigate a viable vegan donut option. We are looking at it closely,” Hoffman added.
